HC circular about partial resumption of physical hearing of cases - Notification

The notification dated 30.9.2020 was issued by the Hon'ble Madras High Court regarding commencement of partial physical hearing in the Court. This notification is a follow-up notification . The notification provided the list of judges who are chosen to conduct physical proceedings in the Principal seat at Madras and this will be effective from 05.10.2020. Advocates/Party-in-persons are requested to follow the instructions given in the

Notification dated 01.09.2020 for filing of fresh cases and also for giving

request to the Registry for listing the pending cases.

The physical Court hearing of Single Benches to take up the cases relating to Writ

and Criminal Side will be in the Pre-lunch session and cases relating to Appellate Side

and Original Side will be in the post lunch session in order to avoid overcrowding in

the Courts. The order was given by the Hon'ble The Chief Justice.
