The Pharmacy Council of India has granted approval to both the petitioners for capacity of 100 and 60 admissions/students respectively. The petitioners filed by the petitioners challenging the policy decision of the State Government has allowed by the High Court. The State Government in notification has granted conditional affiliation after considering the recommendations made by the Affiliation Committee.

The Hon’ble Justice R. F. Nariman, K. M. Joseph, B. R. Gavai decided the present case. In this case, the petitions were filed by the petitioners to seek various directions from the colleges to comply with the notification issued by the State Government, to grant affiliation to the petitioner, to organize and allow the students to participate in special examination. The Writ Petition (civil) No. 30 of 2021 is similar to the Present Writ Petition.

In this present case, the University has denied to grant of affiliation on the ground that the timeline was lapsed as prescribed by the All-India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

The Pharmacy Council of India has granted approval to both the petitioners for capacity of 100 and 60 admissions/students respectively. The petitioners filed by the petitioners challenging the policy decision of the State Government has allowed by the High Court. The State Government in notification has granted conditional affiliation after considering the recommendations made by the Affiliation Committee.

The University has got approval by the Pharmacy Council of India for the capacity of 60 students. The State Government has granted conditional affiliation after considering the recommendations made by the Affiliation Committee. The University is therefore directed to grant affiliation to the petitioner colleges and permit the students to participate in special examination to be organized by the University.

The Writ Petition was allowed.
